I see you on the head of the table
running from the bill
fixing your hair,
I like it anyway

You're now sitting close to me
talking about your day
asking me how your hair look
Then I think: I like it anyway

Stand Up!
I'll do it as well
fixing someone else's hair
while you just stare

Now you're walking away
on the hug I don't want to let go
now I just stare
watching you go

Stand Up!
That's what I do
after you gone
looking at the mirror that you once starred
remembering that I had to watch you go
